FAQ

  • What is a water donation?
Our water Well program supplies clean and safe drinking water to communities in need. By donating, you’re helping us provide access to this basic necessity and making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
  • What are the impacts of water scarcity on communities?
Four billion people — almost two thirds of the world’s population — experience severe water scarcity for at least one month each year. Over two billion people live in countries where water supply is inadequate. Half of the world’s population could be living in areas facing water scarcity by as early as 2025. Some 700 million people could be displaced by intense water scarcity by 2030. By 2040, roughly 1 in 4 children worldwide will be living in areas of extremely high water stress.
  • What kind of water wells do we build at Plutospects Foundation?
Plutospects Foundation is committed to providing sustainable access to clean and safe drinking water in underprivileged areas. We build hand-dug wells, drilled wells, and implement water purification systems in areas where it is needed most. Depending on the region, our volunteers and professionals build and dig out wells using different methods.
  • How do I ensure that 100% of my donation goes towards the water well?
We believe that transparency is vital, especially when it comes to charitable donations. We want you to feel comfortable and confident in your decision to donate. As such, we provide regular updates on the progress of the projects we fund. When you invest in a water well project, we'll send you updates throughout the construction process, along with pictures of progress at different stages. We believe in honesty and transparency, and we know that our donors feel the same way.
  • How long does it take to build a water well?
Depending on the location of the water well, logistics, weather and other external factors it can take between 6 - 12 months.
